What's new 2025?
For the 2025 model year, the Kia Sportage offers Cumming and Suwanee buyers standard gloss-black accents and black badges for the X-Line and X-Pro trims. The Sportage EX model has an available Premium Package that includes a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free liftgate. Most models increase only $100 in terms of MSRP and the pricing of the base model remains unchanged.
Trim levels
Trim levels for the Kia Sportage for 2025 are the same as the 2024 model: LX, EX, X-Line, SX, SX-Prestige, X-Pro and X-Pro Prestige.
The engine and performance
The 2025 Kia Sportage continues to operate with the same 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine as the 2024 model. It generates 187 horsepower and it's teamed up with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the 2025 Sportage lets Lawrenceville and Dacula buyers take your choice of either front- or all-wheel drive. Rugged-looking trims like the X-Line give this compact SUV an attractive off-road look and feel. The X-Pro trim has equipment that allows you to take on rugged terrain. It rolls with black 17-inch rims and all-terrain tires and it offers you a selection of drive modes so you can match your ride with the terrain.
Fuel economy, acceleration and towing
Front-wheel-drive versions of the 2025 Kia Sportage give you 25 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on Sugar Hill highways. All-wheel drive models are EPA-rated to give you 23 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on highways around Gainesville. The Kia Sportage is built to reach 60 mph in 9.1 seconds and when it's equipped with an aftermarket trailer brake controller, it can tow up to 2500 pounds.
Interior highlights
The cabin of the 2025 Kia Sportage feels spacious and the level of versatility is enhanced with configurable cupholders. You can upgrade to a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen that gives you crisper graphics and more connectivity. The Sportage also includes touch-sensitive controls below the infotainment interface that alternates between the climate system and the stereo. Available tech upgrades include a wireless phone charger and a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
Safety features
Like the 2024 model, the 2025 Kia Sportage comes with standard safety features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist.
